Q: How long will it take for my web site to be designed?
A: Depending on the scope of the project, most sites can be completed in 2-4 weeks. However, the most common delay is waiting for content (images and text) to be delivered to us by the client.

Q: Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design?
A: Some do find it helpful to meet in person to work through ideas and expectations. However, we find that we can be just as productive communicating via email or phone. Of course, we will be in contact throughout the project.

Q: Once my website design is completed, what after sales service do you offer?
A: We will always fully support any website that we design. We are available if you encounter problems or require enhancements. Regardless, we offer a full hour of site maintenance and upgrades in our monthly service fee.

Q: When the site is complete, do I own it? Can I move it to another supplier to host?
A: Yes, and Yes. Once complete, all the images and content belong to your company. We will send you a copy of the website on CD for your records – should you decide to host the site elsewhere.

Q: I run a small to medium sized business and want to promote my business online. I want it to look professional to new customers as well as my existing clients. What do I need to do to accomplish this?
A: You need a website that is designed by a professional. In addition, you’ll need a domain name, and web hosting. Lastly, your site will need to be optimized so it can be promoted to the search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN…).

Q: What is web hosting?
A: Web hosting is a service provided by a hosting provider. Sure, that can sound redundant, however, the key here is that the website is hosted by a provider. Basically, it’s an address where your site lives. The hosting provider designates storage space on their servers for all of your web site data. In turn, your website is displayed on the Internet.

Q: How do I update my website?
A: Well, if you need to make infrequent updates, then it will be more cost/time efficient to have us make the updates for you. However, if you need to make updates to your site regularly, then we can provide a content management system and show you how to make content updates yourself (such as bios, blogs, services, or company news).

Q: Do you use Flash animation in your website designs?
A: Yes, we will use Flash animation on your site if you require it. We can create Flash elements such as navigation and banners or build a full Flash website.

Q: Why does it matter how my site looks as long as it works?
A: People are finicky. When a visitor comes to your site, they will immediately make inferences about your company and product/service that you offer. You only have one chance to capitalize on that first impression. Use it to your advantage – if only subconsciously. Every little bit helps to give you a leg up on your competition.
